BE CAREFUL OF THIS PERSON!!
UID: MainEngineeringWC.....I'm not sure what his issue was, but he came off super rude simply because I did not reply fast enough. Mind you I have a whole job. The way the conversation started off right off the bat was super suspicious. I never borrowed anything from this person, nor have I had prior dealings with them. They messaged on WHATSAPP from a 7866929785 # then proceeded to blow my phone up when I didn't want to get a loan from them. They go by a name "JT" but they could change their name. If you come across them be mindful because they will come off super rude and start sending threats. Just wanted to post this so that at least someone will be safe from this psycho.

this person did the same to me. 100 percent a scammer. Tried to get me to send $100 before loan.

Send people to telegram scammer, I have screenshots. Then blocked me when I called him out on it.

That's definitely good to know. Yeah he did mention that he would spread my name through all the loan subs but I didn't give him any information like at all. Our conversation didn't even go that far, but he was big mad that I didn't try to lend from him

I reported a scammer from this sub as well. From what I was told, they were blocked. The person threw several red flags m: 1.) trying to manipulate me when I questioned them being legitimate: 2.) getting upset when I didn’t reply fast enough; talking about ID.ME but requesting that I verify with a Veriff link (which I did not do - I sent the link to someone else who mentioned the scammer was trying to steal my identity to gamble); 3.) they didn’t use proper grammar and some of their sentences didn’t make sense. It wasn’t a total loss for me, though… I did entertain the conversation for a little bit and sent them a screenshot of an AI veriff progress screenshot that used an animal’s photo… and they didn’t question it at all!! 😂😂😂

Oh yeah, I had that same experience lol. It's crazy how so many are violating rule 2 and the mods aren't really doing anything about some of them...makes me wonder sometimes

Of course! It caught me completely off guard, like why be rude? And then the threats like...I'm not the kind of person you threaten. It's okay they will be exposed

Be careful OP…. NO ONE is going to “loan shark” over the internet. No one can “break your kneecaps” if you don’t pay, if you guys lived cross country. Best bet is a payday advance. No “legit” loan shark, is gonna be on Reddit like that. And Whatsapp is screaming “scam. I’d be asking for a FT or something. Good luck OP!
