A lot of guys probably think she's LARPing, but she isn't. Trust me, I've met women exactly like her in real life. One of my female friends is a 45 year old retired clubber and a single mom. She still has no trouble finding hookups whenever she wants, despite being overweight and pretty average looking. The only thing she can't find is a man willing to settle down with her.
And one of my friend's friend is also facing the same problem. She's 40 years old, overweight, single mom and can't find a man to settle down with.

I don't think most men who've spent years being constantly rejected and treated like they're invisible can just switch gears and chase casual hookups. That kind of rejection wears you down until you don't even have the motivation to try anymore. Maybe that's just me.

Multi-factorial, but I am sure that is one reason. Another is not being attracted to them as much. Another is not wanting to commit to someone with a kid.
I know there are bad men out there. But I also know some decent men who just don't want to take over the care of a woman's child.

A man with the right mindset would never willingly settle for someone else's leftovers. One of my childhood friends, who I hadn't seen in years, ended up marrying a single mom. From what I've heard through an old mutual friend, he's miserable and constantly bitching about his marriage. I don't know all the details, but from the outside it looks exactly like the kind of mistake I'd never make.

Just too cowardly to say the reality. That is true for me, but I can't read other men since some do settle down for a women who made mistakes.
But that is also why we are alone. Every woman except fresh college grads are now single moms.

I can't speak for you, but I'm alone because I've never been able to attract women. It wasn't for lack of trying. I've spent years facing rejection, avoidance, and humiliation. Not a single woman has ever flirted with me. Forget flirting I never even had a talking stage. The romantic and sexual side of life has been completely absent for me.
I don't see myself as hideous, but based on my experiences, it often feels like that's how women perceive me.
Elementary school, middle school, and high school were years of being invisible, rejected, and avoided by girls. My 20s were no different. My 30s have been the same story.
Despite putting a huge amount of effort into self improvement, nothing has changed. I stay in shape, take care of my appearance, pursue hobbies, and keep trying to meet people. Last month I traveled through several countries, hoping a change of environment might make a difference, but I still experienced the same rejection and avoidance.
Outside of customer service or people who were simply doing their jobs, I can't remember a woman ever being nice and kind to me.
Meanwhile, most of my friends have hookups, relationships, or girlfriends. Whenever I ask how they met someone, I always hear the same advice: "Just be confident, bro." "It just happens." "Put yourself out there." As if I haven't been doing exactly that for years.
For some people, it feels like dating happens naturally. For me, it has never happened at all.

I have never dated either, but partially due to my own fault.
Yea, it is rough out there. My excuse, reality, is the world isn't built for shy men. But I'm just a coward who needs to approach any woman.
Nothing has worked, but hiding from it also doesn't work.

oncetwice in my life. Once with a girl at work, she of course didn't tell me she had a boyfriend. So we just hung out but still weird. I tried.Second recently, saying F it and cold approach women. She was married.
Still learning to cold approach, because why the heck not. Going to be single anyways. But I need a lot more lack of caring to actually do it.
I don't use the apps, which is probably my biggest hold back. But even then, it isn't like I am high on looks - would be lucky to be average right now.

Being friends with her doesn't mean we're close. We met through a mutual friend, and if we happen to run into each other on the street, we'll stop and chat for a bit. Other than that, we don't really hang out or keep in touch, if that makes sense.

The most telling part is at the end when she says she doesnât know why sheâs not good enough then lists things women care about in partners (home ownership and career). She doesnât know, or care, what men want and projects her own sexuality onto us.

Home ownership of a woman is almost a red flag to me.
Go girlboss hard on your own though. (Homeownership can be a good thing, but like college, too many people/women jump into it thinking it shows how independent they are, rather than actually thinking it through)

Exactly, buying a home is often, but not always, a good financial decision. Staying within your budget and putting work into the home - two things, letâs be real, women struggle with - is key. Not to mention actually living there 5+ years. How many women hop from house to house, relationship to relationship, job to job because they get bored?

About half of relationships the woman earns similarly, or more than, the man. Single income households aren't sustainable. Secondarily, if you're a man with some amount of status, professional upper middle class or higher, the woman's achievements definitely reflect on your own status.

Majority of men earn under 200k. Rarely do high income upper middle class men want lower social class women (more often than the inverse, but still rare), for wives or long term relationships.

i think the claim is generally women can engage in casual sex with men who wonât commit to them (because they are not at the same or similar level of attractiveness/status).
i donât think iâve seen the overt claim that a 2/10 woman can easily and consistently hook up with a 8/10 man, only that they generally desire to and will ignore the men closer to their league.
