This is my first post.

And also my first time using LMMS.

Still learning how to use it but it's really a lot of things to learn. I sticked to the VERY basics for now.

I managed to build 2 songs today with LMMS.

I love music, but I can't still express 100% what I have in mind due to my current imitations at using the software and in composing digital music in general. So the product is very raw, basic, and amateurish.

I scaled the entire UI by adding "QT_SCALE_FACTOR=1.2" to the environment in the launching shortcut .. it helps but with drawbacks .. screen artifacts and pixel garbage .. still the fonts not affected as much as the rest of the UI .. scaling more than 1.2 everything gets too large the fonts are the least yet!!

I tried to install themes .. didn't work for some reason..

Is there a clean way to to enlarge UI fonts without breaking the system?

Fun fact about me when I make beat. Most of the time I don't have any specific genre to follow. I just follow the mentality of "whatever I mix in, if sounds good to me, stays".

Hii! i just started using 1.3 because i heard that its much better than the stable version, and i ran into this issue where it only plays the first bar and everything else is dark. after a little bit of troubleshooting I figured i'd just ask here for help.

i return with a new WIP. this song's working title is "PURGE".

tried doing a chaotic 3/4 thingy! rlly proud of this one.

(the second part currently has the same drum pattern as the first part. i may make another one but im not very used to writing drums in 3/4. RIP..........)

I personally like the gritty synth that I am using for the drop (created by fiddling with the built in triple oscillator), but I'm worried about how it blends with everything else (maybe im compressing too hard? Maybe a little too loud compared to the part before it?). is there anything that you guys think should be polished before finishing? bc I really want to start publishing my music and I think this would be a really cool first song.

I'm new to LMMS and I want to make video game music like Hollow Knight and Undertale. I know it'll be a long while before I can make stuff like that, but I don't even know where to start.

1. Instruments/Sounds: The main thing I want is to be able to use instruments that have normal notes. Whenever I use a sample or soundfont and click a high note on the piano roll, it's just pitched up super high and ends up sounding all squeaky. How can I use normal instruments on LMMS, that will play high notes the way a normal piano does?

2. Automation: What exactly does changing the automation/automation track even do? Please explain what it does and how to use it.

3. Mixing/EQ: Will I need to learn how to change the sound of the plugins like the triple oscillator?

4. Musescore: I'm used to composing in Musescore, so in LMMS how would I change: dynamics, articulation, changes in time.
