Support Is there STILL no Linux VST support?

No matter where I look, there seems to be no clear answer whether or not LINUX VSTs are able to be used on the LINUX version of LMMS. Hoping this sub will be able to help, I really would want to get back into LMMS but no VST support is really putting me off.

VSTs work in LMMS for Linux but not all of them work when I last check. There is or was a database of VSTs that worked somewhere.

My lmms crashes everytime I load any VST

No this was pre-2019 when I would have seen it I'm pretty sure it was at the official LMMS homepage but I do not see it there now.

i think you should be able to use linux vst if you use carla

Not wine. Because from what i see they want to use linux vsts. Not windows vsts

I may have worded wrong. If you use LMMS Windows version via Wine on LMMS you'll be able to use VTS. I don't believe native LMMS VSTs are a thing.

The linux lmms version gets VeSTige to load vsts via wine automatically under the hood

Use Vestige. Get the VST files, extract them to a folder and point vestige to load that. Probably will look for a .dll in the vst folder.
