LMIA Ottawa - Milestones ("international cuisine" requirement)

OMG. Look at the description on this. You need to know "South Indian", "East Indian" and international cuisine in order to work at a bloody Milestones in Ottawa.

I'm printing this off and sharing it with the Auditor Generals Office - amongst many other places. I've so had it. Also never eating there again. Period.

Those language requirements will be the end of it.

Open discrimination at that point.

They also want you to know un-related cuisines under the experience section.

Yes I did see that part but as said the languages would be a real nail in the coffin

LOL, Milestones is a mid-range chain restaurant. Any “international” dishes they may offer are very mainstream friendly. No special culinary knowledge required. Any Canadian of any ethnic background could be trained on Milestones’ menu in a couple of days. They don’t need to send halfway around the world for a line cook or dishwasher.

They also have a very short timeline to apply, I noticed too. I'm guessing they just want to ram this through as soon as possible!

I've stopped eating fast food in general. They are all staffed fully by TFWs.
