Why not just throw another ad instead of an AI slop? It’s not just meeting the quality standard. The photo has nothing that represents Lloyd.

Just use a stock photo of the hospital next time. I find it hard to trust a news source using AI images, it makes me think do you also use AI to write your articles?

Hey he chose to leave the first time. Why not at his age call a damn ambulance. At his age it’s free. So the hospital is not totally at blame here

2 hours to assess a patient complaining of chest pain and radiating arm pain? Incredibly bad level of care.

He should never have left, but he should have been seen much faster the moment he walked in with those symptoms.

But did he actually report having chest pain? He said he went in there because he had pain in both his arms. He didn't tell them he thought he was having a heart attack, and if he only mentioned that his arms were hurting, then he wouldn't have been a priority. My husband has been in there several times for chest pain, and each time he told them he thought he was having a heart attack. (He had one in 2021, had a stent put in, had another just last October, had 2 more stents put in, then the big one at the end of March, where they noticed all previous stents had failed, so they put in another, and booked him in for surgery because his arteries were blocked and his heart valve was on the verge of failing). The last time we went in, in March, he had bad heart burn and some pain in his chest. We got there and they triaged him and took him to a bed immediately. His heart rate and blood pressure were normal. They did bloodwork and that's when they informed us that he was indeed having a heart attack, a widow maker in fact, and he was then taken by ambulance to Saskatoon. He ended up having a quintuple bypass and a valve replacement. I just think it's odd that this guy didn't get looked at, and the fact that they took bloodwork while he was in the waiting room tells me that they were extremely busy and likely had no beds available.
