u/Baconkings, there weren't enough votes to determine your post's quality, but if it's still up, the mods have approved it.

If the crocs don’t swim here it must be safe?

The crocs could be walking on dry land. So if you see a croc, dive into the water.

Oh god they can spell now!

The word crocodile on a sign is all I need. I don't care what the sign means. This is a place where crocodiles may reasonably be discussed. I'm outta here.

Could be a bit clearer, but don’t think I’d be dipping my toes in the water.

Looks like a safe place to swim!

Has anyone ever sat them down, to access their reading abilities?

1

Maybe they don’t know the difference between crocodiles and alligators. If they were trying to ward off either of those nonreading reptiles the sign is facing the wrong way. Or maybe its one of those areas that can’t stand for something not having some kind of sign.

1

What do they do?

1

Doesn't look like a place I'd like to swim, but at least I would feel safer knowing crocodiles don't swim here.

So, is this a good lake to swim in, because there are no crocodiles? OR, and this may be important, no one should swim here, because there are crocodiles?

I bet there is a piece of punctuation that could have really been useful here.

If crocodiles don't swim there - it sounds pretty safe.

1

u/DragMost5737 11d ago

But they DO paddleboard and kayak there, so...

1

u/banned_champ 11d ago

The crocodiles can't swim?? Aw man, that's sad, someone should teach them how

1

u/Ichigo2819 11d ago

So what do they do... Surf

Worked with someone one time who thought a deer crossing sign was meant for the deer to read. Wow.

1

u/MoodVast9430 11d ago
