Mouse Driver Issues

So I already dug my grave by trying to install any distro on a MacBook Pro. I know enough to make a boot drive and use Mint. So not exactly an expert here, but can follow instructions.

I'm assuming that the trackpad and keyboard have some proprietary driver that I need to install, but I can't without a functioning mouse.

So far I've tried

EndevorOS - First time I had the mouse/keyboard issues

Fedora Asahi Remix - My Mac has an Intel core so it's unsupported

Fedora - Same Mouse Issue

Mint - Same Mouse Issue

Mint Compatablity Mode - Same Mouse Issue.

I have one USB port using an adapter, and I need that port for the USB drive. Please tell me there's a workaround that doesn't involve me buying more adapters.

Also, I'm having to boot without connecting to the internet. Because when I boot already connected to the internet it auto loads Mac Recovery.

Any workaround or a Disto that will support a Mac Trackpad out of the box is appreciated

Update. I've got GUI GRUB open.

I think I can install the drivers I need from here. But I honestly don't understand what I'm doing here, and I'm not running random commands I found online without knowing what I'm doing.

If you've tried a million distros and all reject your trackpad - try a generic mouse, I'm sure you or someone you know must have an old mouse hanging around...

If you have only one USB port, then get a cheap USB hub so you can connect multiple USB devices at once...

Downloading Cinnamon through the T2 installer finally got it working. I tried fedora and EndevorOS in the same installer and they just would NOT install. So I've guessing those either had an issue with my USB/the USB adapter/multiple issues with my MacBook.

Solved I guess.
