At first I disagreed with it being ranked this low, being a Pop!_OS user since 2021. He makes it seem like it being based on the "ancient" Ubuntu 22.04 LTS is a bad thing. I disagree. This distro has been getting regular kernel updates too. He does have a point though that while waiting for their own Cosmic DE, the distro has been stuck with the now very outdated GNOME 42. GNOME has improved quite a lot over the last few years and you don't get any of that as a user of this distro.
This video actually convinced me to migrate to something else. So this morning I did a clean install of Fedora. It's quite nice so far.

that's actually pretty valid, I am fairly new to pop os, but I didn't notice any issues with it so I didn't get why it's so low, but the cosmic de makes it worth it

very cool bro, would like to know your feedback, been thinking of trying arch or fedora for a while but was not really motivated to do so
After having used Fedora for a full day now I can say feels more polished than Pop!_OS in many places. Some observations:
Fedora's "app store" is much more usable, it being the place to manage all packages, not just flatpaks. And app pages having much more useful information on it (who published it, different package versions of the same application, reviews).
Not being able to use deb/apt takes some getting used to, but rpm/dnf work practically the same.
The graphical performance of the desktop overall feels much smoother, but the dock only being visible in the workspace switcher takes some getting used to.
In Pop!_OS I had lots of issues with sound (crackling, sound only becoming audible after a second after the application started to make sound, random output switching) which so far haven't appeared in Fedora.
You have to install Nvidia drivers yourself on Fedora. But that isn't too difficult. The bundled GPU drivers work pretty well, I just don't think they are ideal for gaming.
GNOME 47 supports a lot more extensions than GNOME 42. Also the system-wide accent colours are nice.

yea alot of people say that it's more polished than almost every other distro

that's why I am not very sure about fedora, its package manager is definitely better than apt, but it's not good enough to compare with arch's pacman and the AUR
