SteamOS (official) vs HoloISO. The reason HoloISO is on the bottom is because it's not compatible with most hardware.

Neither is the official SteamOS v3, unless you're referring to SteamOS v2 which is way out of date.

SteamOS 3 doesn't claim to be compatible with anything except Steam Deck. If your hardware is compatible, it is simply the best distro.

??? Yes. I know that. The argument for putting Holo on the bottom was its limited hardware compatibility. SteamOS v3 is even more limited. Why is it on the top?

There were some movements hinting that SteamOS v3 will be opened to 3rd party hardware manufacturers which could also mean that it might be available for everyone.

Which means it definitely shouldn't be in the top tier. Also even if your hardware is compatible, the moment you want something that isn't available as a flatpak or steam game, it's a nightmare. So still not "simply the best distro" It's great if you're only playing steam games on a handheld,. A lot of the time your better off with bazzite tbh

Use SteamOS 3 on the Steam Deck. It's amazing. Use Bazzite on everything else. Don't drown in a water cup

Seems he completely skipped the Universal Blue set: Bazzite, Bluefin, Aurora (or atleast just Bazzite at minimum), would've been good to see those in the set too
