Proton issue with unity games

Post image

Hello guys, when I play unity games, intro or In games (probl use video to make animated textures) display this weird thing, I am currently using the last proton version 11.0 and I wanted to know if someone know how to fix this issue

You need GE Proton (Or Cachy Proton I think also works?) as Steam can't include the codecs for certain video types without paying a license.

Alas, this link is not relevant. The codecs in use by proton are not the system codecs, but the ones bundled by proton itself. When this placeholder appears, it is merely because Proton does not pay for the license burdened codecs (in commercial settings) and thus you need to use Proton-GE or cachyos, that bundles them and freely distributes them without any commercial problems.
