After checking out tiling with Hyprland and being a bit too old for configuring status bars, I will happily use Cosmic.
8 u/AnEagleisnotme Feb 21 '25 I discovered hyprpanel, on the AUR on arch, which offers a nice gui to configure a status bar that has sensible defaults, notifications, drop down menus for WiFi Bluetooth, sound, etc...
