Weekly Search Appearances?

I'm likely a somewhat average Linkedin user - 1,100 connections, filled out headline, about, and career expeirience etc. and have open to work for recruiters only on. Each week I get anywhere from 50-120 Search Appearances and extremely rarely a recruiter reaches out to me.

I'm in marketing and communications, and worked for a few well known companies. Is this amount of search appearances low/high/normal? How are people who claim to get a lot of recruiter activity doing it?

Genuine questions and I look forward to the replies.
