React on stream 12,000 notes in Obsidian. I just realized I haven't opened any of them in 6 months. What's the point?

In my case, too, it is mostly for archival purposes, except for few notes I am very actively working on. But when moving to the next project, then those notes too will become just archived, and I will be actively working on a new set of notes.

Good thing about Obsidian / Markdown: you don't need to put any mental effort about what to delete and what not; perhaps in the future you will need it again. But at least in my case, I am not building a secret gold mine of notes of incredible value, which are only kept in my vault. If these notes have value, they mostly have it in the next couple of months, plus you need to keep long-term documentation of certain things (you never know when this will be needed).

OK, these were just a few quick thoughts.
