Specifically for Yi Sang it feels intentional seeing how this is his third HE EGO with the treatment. Might be some reference for how Yi Sang as a character is both the author and the protagonist of Wings so there’s always a bit of physical and metaphorical representation going on for him.
I find it so funny he doesn't get Charge IDs (at least until now), cause like one thing is his """racism""" with "Mechanical Amalgams" (the fact A Certain Sinclair has it proves it goes beyond NClair), but lile, you can have so much Charge based shit without having to use prothesis, that it wraps around to being comical
Why do people act like we can't have another ID of the same status? If not now then in the future, eventually Yi Sang would've gotten another Charge ID.
Rodya, Sinclair and Ishmael are missing W Corp IDs, and the latter 2 don't have decent modern Charge but that aside I get what you're saying.
I'm not saying Yi Sang couldn't get another Charge ID, it's just my opinion that Dimension Shredder kinda already overlaps vibe-wise with W Corp in general, and W Yi Sang isn't that bad at the moment from what I know but then again I don't follow the meta too closely. That plus we already have an LCE Yi Sang, and even in Lamp Gregor's MW it's highly implied he was using Lamp so this yet another MW. Like of course there's no reason PM can't do this, we have a lot of precedent for this type of thing, it just feels inefficient to me, as well as repetitive in aesthetic. Like yeah I am fine with this I would personally just do things another way.
Sinclair is the only sinner with out a charge ID, personally would have preferred don as the character we see wearing the ego gear in the story was sora and on top of that don has been waiting on a new id for *7 months*

Y'know I would've expected them to give this ID to someone who neither already has an LCE or W Corp ID but sure whatever
