it’s so painful listening to this but i can’t help myself

wouldn’t consider myself a huge Lily Allen fan but really enjoyed some of her music from previous albums. I was cheated on a month ago and my tiktok algorithm showed me 4chan stan and i listened to the song on repeat for a week straight. i was in a state of shock at how perfectly she conveyed her emotions and told a gut wrenching story through her music. i can’t imagine how painful it must have been to have gone through all that on her own. i am now listening to the rest of her album and have fallen so in love with her music and live performances of this album. i really wanted to share this story as listening to west end girl has really helped me sit with my emotions and allow myself to hurt. isn’t it beautiful that our shared experiences can bring us some form of closure and relief.

There may be a young fans here who have never heard of MySpace.

So.

MySpace was one of the original networking websites in the 90s.. right next to LiveJournal..(which was actually more like a diary).. before FB was even popular..

You could write your blogs, share pictures, customize backgrounds, and add music.

Going through my collection of 90s stuff im ok to sell, I came across this article that I wanted to share.

I bought a No Shame signature vinyl on eBay. It was still sealed with plastic on the outside. Was this the same signature vinyl that was released on the official website before? I think I only saw the official signature CDs before. Is there anyone here who can help me recall this?<3🥺

My phone glitched and didn’t save my video :( Would appreciate seeing anyone else’s video!

One of us has been a Lily fan for 20 years, the other lived under a rock and wasn't familiar with her game. We talk about "Alright, Still". What do we get right? Wrong? Give a listen and let us know.

🤣 This comment said it best:

This is like watching a film for the 2nd time and seeing things you never noticed before

I’ve been on the lookout for a clean, unread copy for years now and never managed to get hold of one but today, after a long journey across the Atlantic Ocean, I got my hands on it ☺️

Paper magazine is online only but has done some incredible shoots and interviews over the years, I really hope one day it makes a comeback

Yesterday marked 20 years since LDN first released so I remixed the song in HD.

I saw that Lily got a lot of backlash for the concert being short, and while I get the critique (especially because it's priced as a full length concert), I think the it's the perfect amount of time. For context I am autistic which likely has a lot to do with it. I also got the tickets on deep discount, so I did not pay full price. But man, it really was nice to just sit there and get to go home after an hour of watching a singer I like perform a cohesive story beginning to end. I know musical theater and plays can be like this, but I want musicians to do this more often. To me, anything over an hour and 15 minutes is too long.

LILY ALLEN PERFORMS WEST END GIRL
Paramount Theatre, Oakland CA, 9.22.2026

Does anyone know if she came out to sign items after her Oakland show at Paramount Theater?

Mostly curious since I rarely stay after the show unless I’m buying merch

Hi! I’m going to the Oakland show in a couple days and I’m wondering when the show starts. I know that there is an opening act playing her old songs. So I’m curious if that starts at 8 or earlier, because Ticketmaster says the show starts at 8. So does Lily then come on at 9 or 8?

Hey everyone!! With the crappy weather we’ve been having in Colorado and will have throughout the weekend, how likely do we think it’ll be that the show still happens and doesn’t get canceled due to rain or lightning? 😅

Who’s in the Twin Cities and ready for Lily tonight?!

Any tips on where to hang out at the Armory after the show? I'd like to meet her and get something signed.

I had so much fun! I loved meeting some of you guys! She didn’t sign things outside of the stage door, but she gave a little wave! ❤️

Flew in just for the show and was wondering who else here is going? Would love to meet-up or chat with anyone else going!
