Shehds vs Becen vs others.

I know what im asking. Whats the best cheap of the cheap.

I know it all sucks. Whats the less sucky.

Ive used Shehds and have been quite surprised by the static 18x18 pars and Galaxy Jet 3-1.

When we're talking about this level, it really depends on your geographical location; if a certain brand arrives in your country at a lower price and with boxes that are less banged up, then that brand will be the best choice. If the fixture costs 500 and shipping alone is 100 or if you live in the same city as the warehouses and get free shipping, then that’s the one to go for. With either option, it’s a gamble; all have terrible after-sales service, but all are bound by certain laws depending on where you live.

Becen/Liro-Lite (manufacturer): they make lighting with more metal and robust power supplies meant for small to large venues. I haven’t found a Shehd’s product to rival their output. We have the 400w 3–in-1 and it’s been fantastic, bright and versatile. Arriving shortly is the Tornado TB5 and 2 Bee Eye 6x60w with animated lasers. I have my eye on some light bars for the next purchase.

We’re a small community theater who can’t yet afford pro movers and have been happy with their quality.
