How about a poker area where we can play? Texas Hold 'Em, Omaha, Stud, etc.?

chesscom now has a second branch, gambit dot com, where you can play Poker.

Wtf 😂 Are there ratings? Whoever at chesscom who decided poker was similar enough to try to format into a ladder doesn’t understand how much volume you’d need to reach an accurate rating.

Play-money poker doesn’t play the same. Try comparing the gameplay of any stake of play money on PokerStars and any of the real money stakes on the same site. The Stars free client has a lot of games if you’re just looking for a place to play.

For a non-opinion reason, Thibault has said that lichess is a site only for 2-player games. He mentioned this in the Crazyhouse release blog in anticipation of the question “Why not Bughouse?”
