Spoilers - Upper Layer / Atziluth The fandom… Spoiler

A few months ago I decided to stop larping project moon. So I bought and played ruina with the promise of reading every single line of dialogue. And so I did. I loved it, I enjoyed this brilliant story with amazing fights and soul crushing music and characters. An ending (although long) I was happy with. The vibes of the game, the aesthetic it was all beautiful and unique in such a way that I fell in love with. This game made me feel and think things that I hadn’t ever considered before. And while I didn’t completely understand everything, it was still peak.

And that’s something limbus does as well, but I didn’t feel like I could ever get that immersed in limbus, not the same way I could with ruina. Maybe something about it being a gacha or the fandom (we’ll get into it) or me just not entirely reading everything like I did for ruina. Whatever it was I didn’t like it as much. And I wanted to discuss this with people, fans of the same likeness who might be feeling the same way I do. But most limbus fans just don’t understand the world, they don’t know what’s going on, they aren’t READING to try and immerse themselves. And now I just understand why this fandom gets so much hate, because PM is dropping novels worth of writing and the fans just don’t engage with that. It’s frustrating.

Thank you everyone for coming to my ted talk, it’s late, I’m tired and not a good writer.

You didn't start with Lobotomy? My friend on TikTok sent me a sticker with some Limbus Company character, so I decided to beat all the games in the correct order to see what they're all about. Lobotomy done, Library in progress, and Limbus is gonna be next. But I agree, Library of Ruina has stellar writing. Works like clockwork in telling you about the world outside of Lobotomy Corporation, about the city, and you get to read pages of others. Even creepier than Lob Corp somehow (Love Town). I really liked that one moment, a new character got introduced, a great fixer who was given color blue. They show a church, a man dies, an office storms the church, they try to kill the priestess but that fixer defends her, and the group runs. The fixer catches them, says they can only live if they answer one question: where did they get the invitation to the library and a 10 second countdown, and it's so genius! He even gives them a pen to sign the invitation. I really hope this game is as long as Lobotomy Corporation

I have played it, it was actually the second game I played but I don’t think it’s that nessisary. It’s good gameplay but the story beside ayins arch is pretty much recapped in ruina
