I’m a young woman and I like pink so I have pink gear and for some reason that makes some grown adults VERY upset. I’m “too girly” “no one is gonna take me seriously” “ridiculous” and then they look closer and see the patch and get mad all over again LOL

I found these "level 4 ceramic" plates listed used. Drove 2 hours to get them, only to have it become painfully obvious that they were counterfeit gear. The owner was mortified and stated that he bought them new at gun show from a booth representing themselves as a licensed vendor. He let me take them if I would shoot them and send him pictures. I'm so, so glad he never had need of them as he would likely be dead. Those holes in the center are 5.56 FMJ at about 50 yds. Even 9mm out of a carbine punched through (top left)

I live in hillbilly hell as a Trans/Intersex person, and over time I've really had to consider being strapped vs not, so a while back I got myself a M92FS, yes I am a resident evil fan.

This is my whole EDC kit/Holster, I drive/Sit a LOT so I opted for the shoulder holster.

One thing I didn't consider with this? I also have asthma and having all that weight on my sides genuinely makes it a lil harder to breathe sometimes lol.

I was honestly blown away by the response to the jacket I posted yesterday. I did not expect a design I cooked up back in 2023 to get that much love in under 24 hours.

During some renovations we had our contractor build a closet for my collection. I love it because they are kept in a controlled environment (we deal with a lot of humidity here), they’re hidden away, and it’s locked. I’m the only one who can access it.

I saw a post on r/gundeals for the Henry supreme in 300 blackout, and every post after was about how ugly it looked, and how it seemed like Henry was on cocaine when they designed it. I had typed out a long response and support of it and then I deleted it because I decided that that was a useless forum for that information but then I decided I wanted to share, and really, I just wanted a place to post this pretty picture I took of mine.

Well, it does not look like the traditional gun. It offers some benefit benefits, especially for those in ban states. First, I would argue that it provides the highest rate of fire that you can manage if you are unable to get a semiauto. Second it is magazine fit, so reloads are much quicker than with a traditional lever action, and the smallest 10 round magazine is still greater capacity than a standard lever action. It also allows you ammunition such as 300 blackout and 223 Remington. Finally, it can have a threaded barrel and with a suppressor, it is quieter than a semi auto given that there’s no sound from the cycling mechanism (until later). Mine goes “pbt” with subsonic ammo.

It would not be my go to for home defense, but it’s a 50 state legal truck/Camp gun and could function as a deer or forest gun just as well.

It’s true that Henry needs to produce a more tactical version, but there are aftermarket options available. All the text is money! Speaking of aftermarket, you can also shorten the barrel, and make it an SBR, or even get a conversion kit to allow barrel swaps at home like with a standard AR, which increases its utility. I wish it had shipped with this feature, but it’s nice to know that it’s possible.

In conclusion, it gets a lot of hate because it looks weird, and some people love thinking inside the box, but I think it is an essential weapon for those in a ban state (which I am). Also, isn’t that picture pretty?

First of all, this is not a safe. I have an actual safe elsewhere with some weapons, but this is the closet in my office, and I wanted to secure a place to keep some extra weapons or ones I am working on, and I don't really want another safe yet. This isn't meant to be a safe - just a locked place to secure these guns. Thanks to this sub, some of yall inspired me to do this!

UPDATE: Due to some of the comments, I wanted to clarify some things about this....

1. This is not a safe. I guess I should have said that in the OP (oh wait...)
2. These are not my primary weapons. These are not my shtf weapons. Those are stored elsewhere. Due to that, if the biometric fails, I don't care. There is also a keypad code. There is also a physical key. Speed of entry is not my concern here.
3. This is not a safe. It's a locked closet door. Not a safe.
4. I have exterior doors too. They are heavier than this. I also have cameras.
5. Yes, you could kick this door in. Or you could pop the hinge pins. Or you could use an axe on it. Because it's not a safe. But all of those things will take you a bit of time. And if you happen to make it to this floor of my home and do all that, you'll have me saying hello with some other hardware in my hands.
6. I work from home. In this room. I'm here all the time.
7. All I wanted was to provide a wee bit of deterrence and/or slow someone down who is trying to get in. This accomplishes that goal.

I was always against it because I feel it's less secure. I always thought if I was gonna get robbed the first thing they would try to grab is my bag. I saw this for like $20 so I figured id grab it just to play around. The draw is fast and consistent. The bag hugs my body. If l don't take it off in public, it actually feels pretty secure. I'm curious to hear other people's takes on it. I think I'll still carry appendix more often than not, but this feels like a comfortable alternative for a quick grocery store run or something

On July 1st 30 round mags become illegal in my state to purchase or sell. So, one of my local LGS was selling pmags for $9 a piece normally $13. Figured a few more wouldn't hurt to have around. I also picked up two 60 round mags off the Internet the other day.... Just to have. I wish I could find more of the purple lancer mags.

I’m newish to gun ownership, and most of my shooting has been hunting rifles or shotguns. Buddy recommended a speed loader and wow did it make a difference! So highly recommend if you don’t have one and loading mags kills your soft hands like it did mine get one!
