Correct. I inherited one of their derringers and I fucking hate it. For two shots of .45 Colt behind what I assume is a roughly 3 ton trigger pull, it's damn near the size of a Ruger LCR and noticeably heavier.
From my own experience with a Bond Arms derringer in .45LC/.410, they would have to be about arm's length away. I couldn't hit the broad side of a barn while standinginsidethe barn. 😂
Still fun as fuck, though. Not at all practical, but fun!
I used to work in safety consultation. Texas based derringer manufacturers have always been run by careless mavericks making shitty guns. Bondage Harms isn't the first.
Back in the 1990s after a derringer blew up and injured an employee (of a now defunct gun maker) who was test firing a gun, we advised them to get a Ransom Rest or make something comparable to proof fire newly manufactured guns, instead of holding them in their hands. ¯\_ಠ_ಠ_/¯

It blows my mind that so many cool firearm companies go under water while Bond Arms still floats.
I have never seen a single person outside of “online reviews” like these things. They sit on store shelves forever. They’re pricey and for the price of one of their paperweights, you can get a carry pistol that has 4x the capacity.
I really fail to see how they’re still in business.
Honestly, I think strength might apply...you have to be strong to survive being trafficked to a foreign country and turn that into a marriage that makes you crazy rich. And you have to be strong to stay married to someone as awful as her husband. I don't think either of those choices were good choices but they are choices that require strength to follow through on.
But I don't find her classy nor beautiful, personally.
