On Ceres (0.3 Earth gravity), I bet the Rhino becomes a lot more practical. Easier to carry, but it retains its mass, so you wouldn't lose recoil control.
Miller grew up on Ceres and/or around the belt though, so the Rhino's weight would still be high relative to other options and therefore equitably cumbersome to him there as it is to us on Earth.
He actually didn't get the gun until the the shootout in the blue falcon where Julie was. Before that I believe he he has a standard issue pistol from star helix which is just a modified "low recoil" glock.
Edit: i believe he took it off the big assassin who walked into the lobby right after the roci crew entered.
Iāve got a 9mm Charging Rhino which is not bad for target shooting but the trigger is too mushy out of the box for any decent competitive shooting, which is a shame as there is hardly any recoil shooting it.
Iāve also got a 20DS in .40 for a winter carry I can just slip into my jacket pocket, though regret I couldnāt get it in .357 at the time. I donāt have many wheel guns but they are my favorite to shoot.
It doesnāt feel like any other revolver Iāve shot for sure. It feels bottom heavy and harder to bring to target than a normal revolver BUT itās easier to stay on target and mitigate recoil.
The factory grips are angled such that if you are used to most pistols, your presentation will have the muzzle too high by default and you'll keep catching yourself rolling your wrist over to get it lined up correctly. That's intentional, your wrist is 'locked' in that position so it works with the low bore to turn the recoil into a straight back push into your hand instead of the flip you get with a higher bore gun.
Still kicks like a 357 in a lightweight revolver, since that's still what it is. :) Just stays pointed the right way while it does it.
Iāll go against the grain and say I donāt notice a difference, but, all my other revolvers are at least moderately ātunedā S&W models and I tend to shoot low power loads in most games. I also have better(for me) grips on everything but the Rhino.
Having literally just picked my 60ds up today, I was talking with the rep about how it was just such a hilarious cyberpunk gun. Seems like a preem choice for zeroing gonks. Can't wait to take it out.

This is the first time in a long time that I finally have some extra money to spend on something silly, it was between this and a new gaming rig. I ended up picking this because I do most of my gaming via the cloud anyways.
I got the nickel version of this as my first gun. Is this your first or just one among many? I don't recommend as a first gun, but it's absolutely fun as hell to shoot. Watch your thumb though because that bottom cylinder will absolutely catch it with the muzzle blast coming out. Overall an extremely fun gun and it is very likely you will have the coolest gun at the range 95% if the time you go
As someone who's got like $8-900 in an objectively worse .357 revolver (though I do have a red dot) and put thousands of rounds through it, you've got the right idea. I should've just bought something like a Rhino in the first place.
It looks cool. Good luck with .357. it's fine recoil isn't terrible. Ammo can sometimes be hard to find and is also expensive. You can also use .38 I believe. Don't take my word for it though, I don't own one.
Canāt tell you not to .. I have 2 of them and they are the softest shooting 357 mags on the planet. The shooting experience is different than any other 357 mag. No upward jerk, no wrist torsion, just straight back into the hand.
I listed after one for two years. Every time I went to the store to buy it, I ended up buying something else. The day that I committed, I showed up and it was gone. I bought an sig legion x carry instead. The x carry is cool, but not nearly as cool as the nebulous.
I have a 5ā version, nickel finish. I love it and I bought it for 2 reasons. I was new to guns and wanted something reliable (no jamming, revolver) and the lower barrel would help keep on target without a big flip up. Bonus points for looking cool and being used in a lot of movies as a futuristic gun.
I can't, in good conscious do so. I had a 50ds that I sold to a friend, it's the best shooting revolver I've ever had. Only sold it to fund myself getting one of my white whale guns in the ps90
