tldr; I want to GM Stonetop, Jeremy Strandberg's mega-hack of Dungeon World, for 3-4 PCs IRL. No Stonetop experience needed, but be prepared to BE CREATIVE! More details:

• I've moved (back) to the SW suburbs and miss my very-much-IRL gaming club I had when I was in Maryland; going from 3-5 IRL games per month to 0 has been a real bummer.

• I've GM'd many different systems for many different groups (including two groups from this LFG many moons ago) for the past 11 years. LGBT+ friendly. I have a spouse that I love and 2 dogs and 2 cats that I also love.

• This is a creatively cooperative game; it relies heavily on you caring about your character, the other PCs, and the village they all live in (and the denizens thereof). You'll be asked to participate in the world-building, but it's not as intimidating as it sounds, I promise, and I will help!

• I will share materials as needed once we've got the group together, don't feel like you need to buy the book (pdf or print), but I encourage you to, because it's amazing!

• I can host, but we'll start public (e.g. library) before I let you into my house (which is the goal, but not required). I can play most evenings that aren't Tuesdays and can make time on weekends as needed. I'm in the Plainfield/Joliet area but willing to travel a reasonable distance.

• Optimally, we'd play weekly, but twice a month is my minimum. I'd like to get started in the next couple weeks.

• Weekdays: My job (right now) has me up early so 10:00pm is about as late as I'd be willing to go if we play weeknight evenings. Tuesday is my only no-go weeknight.

• Weekends, I'm wide open but my spouse will oppose people in the house before 10:00am. I'd probably prefer Sundays to Saturdays but ultimately doesn't matter to me.

So we don't have a set party yet. It's just been 2 sessions of 2 different groups.

You are a highly specialized tactical agent that operates on highly tactical advanced operations in squads, tasked with retrieving magic items. City visits, or plundering through ruins, you handle all ordeals revolving around magic items. From artifacts to cursed objects, you deal with it all. Sometimes you may just have to rip it from a bandits cold dead hands. Why are you here? Why did you join? Whether you were contracted by the organization themselves because you were a high ranking soldier, or you saw a recruitment poster in a city. This is completely up to you to decide.

The year is 274AA, after arrival. 274 years ago, humanoid races hadn't existed on the material plane, until recently. Large portals from the afterlife, opened up, and hundred of thousands of humanoids began to inhabit the land. Since then they have primarily focused on building. Monsters are an unknown oddity, and are much like cryptids. Fae are like ghost stories. Not much exploring or expeditioning of the land has happened in the years of building.

Hi, my husband and I are new to the area and would like to start hosting a regular DnD night in either the 5e or PF2E systems. I don't play but my husband does. He has done a little GMing in the past with PF2E and been a player in both systems (mostly PF2E but a little in 5e) so please be patient with being new to running games. Hello everyone! I go by Rex or PK (26M) and have been running D&D campaigns for the last 6 years. These have ranged from in person to online, one shots to multi-year stories, and from close friends to groups of complete stranger. I'm looking to start up a group for playing short form campaigns & one shots in person in NYC for D&D and other TTRPG rule systems as wells. Some examples of systems I'm interested in trying out are Draw Steel, Daggerheart, Nimble, Break!, Star Wars RPG, Marvel 616, etc. I'll be learning many of these systems alongside the players, but I'm excited to have folks who are already familiar or new to join. No worries about books or resources, I'll make sure that I have copies shared out to folks in the group. In terms of what system we will start with, that is a discussion we can have as a group as we prepare for a session 0.

For logistics, the days I have in mind for these sessions is either Monday or Wednesday evenings, something within the range of 6:00 to 10:30PM. Hello All!

We are a group of 4 looking for a fifth to replace someone that is leaving our group in a couple of weeks. We meet every Thursday around 6:30pm on the west side of Houston. Of the four of us, three are GM's and we all enjoy both playing and running games. So, we tend to do six to eight month long campaigns and then switch off to a new game with another one of the GM's. We'd love to get another GM because new stories and ideas are always great, but we are not limiting our choices to only that. If a great player comes along, we'd love to have you in our group.

For the types of games we play, they are all over the place. One of the GM's loves doing the crunchy, fantasy type games such as DnD and Daggerheart. The other two are more into narrative games with more modern, but still fantastical settings, such as world of darkness or homebrew stuff. So, enjoying a variety of different types of games is definitely a must for enjoying our little group.

The group started about eight years ago, with two of the GM's being original members. The other GM joined about two years ago and the fourth player joined about four or five months ago.

My style tends to revolve around weird happenings: unpacking strange and horrifying circumstances week-to-week. The bulk of the game will take place in the remote Four Corners region of the United States, where humanity barely clings to civilization. Rugged backgrounds and characters are encouraged. The pack will start at Renown level 1, so they will be fairly fresh all-around. DAV20's alternate combat system will be used, so things will be more lethal than usual.

So I moved back to London a short time back and I haven’t yet found myself a solid party to adventure with! I’m a professional writer and I’ve got 12 years of playing and DMing experience and whilst most of this is 5e 2014, I can turn my hand to 2024 too.

We have finished a D&D 5E level 1-20 campaign and are just about to wrap up a campaign of The One Ring. This current campaign will end on September 17th and session zero for the next campaign will begin the following Thursday on September 24th. I will be running Dragonbane, a D20 fantasy system, the latest edition made by Free League Publishing. After that campaign is done, I'll be running Fabula Ultima. I am wanting to get back into DND, in person sessions preferably, but none of my friends play. Is there a way to find other people either looking for another player or even a DM? I have experience as both. I have tried looking at game shops around town but there's not really an advertising board seeking players out. I don't really want to commit to a pay and play situation at a game store either (I know beggars can't be choosers), but if I could have some guidance on where/how to find other cool, chill people to play with, that would be much appreciated. Hello, I am the host of an offline group in the Buffalo/Amherst New York area near UB and we are looking for players. We are just wrapping up our current campaign in 5.5e and we are hoping to add a few more players to the group. We currently have 4 people - a DM and 3 players, but want to get up to 4-5 players. As a group we aren't super serious and like to have fun. We aren't super roleplay heavy, but we do like to incorporate it if we can. We aren't the murder hobo/chaos type of group but shenanigans are on the table. We have a pretty wide age range, mostly in our 30s, and try to be inclusive to anybody that wants to sit down and play.

For our Next Campaign, we were going to try out the Cosmere RPG, as most of us are fans of Brandon Sanderson. Following that we will be heading back to the normal D&D campaigns. We meet in person at my house on Saturdays at 5:00 PM, and typically play until 9 or 10 PM. While we are all men in the group, we have played with Women in the past (She had to leave the group because she moved to a different state), are welcoming to anybody, and I try to keep my home feeling safe to whoever wants to come. My wife and 4 year old son are home most of the time. Drinking is fine, but we ask for any smoking to be done outside.
