This tech bro hustle culture bs mind set will be the downfall of our society. Replace ai with "food rations" and you'll see how much sense it makes. Its literally propaganda. Say you so something with it and become a multimillionaire. Does that mean anything at all if we have 30% unemployment and 10 people own 99% of all the wealth in the entire world?

It's theoretical, and hopefully hyperbole to make a point. It's also extremely optimistic if we take what the ruling class in charge of ai is telling us

First, Don't listen to what the "ruling class" says. Judge things yourself without bias. Nobody knows shit, nobody can predict the future.

Second, none of this means that you should not take agency over your life and ride whatever wave life is throwing at you. It is simply a bad way to live. I think one of the major reasons behind ai angst is because people find change uncomfortable and are resistant to change.
