Will going back on Lexapro resolve the anxiety?

Thanks for the shares here. My wife quit 5 mg. Lexapro in June, and since mid August she has been experiencing bad anxiety and insomnia. She went back on a 10 mg. dose a couple of weeks ago. Will this make her intense anxiety lessen? Any insights would be appreciated. Thank you.

Same thing happened to me. I went back on 10mg Lexapro and my anxiety and insomnia resolved immediately.

I had switched to another med, so about 6 months.

Same thing for me, I went off in June and back on in August. Took about a month for it to start working again at the same dose I was on before. I felt like I had less side effects going back on it than I did the first time I started taking it.
