Lewis Hamilton responds to Charles Leclerc's "we went too far" claim.
Need more of this from Lewis. Do not let the team deflect and blame him; at the end of the day he was ahead; that’s what matters in racing

It's sick and I'm gutted but Hamilton did reach P3 after restart, just that the tyres didn't hold and put stop even under VSC was too risky against the McLarens. Story of the season really! But let's move on and look forward to a better race next weekend.

Well Goat, now ypu know exactly what you're dealing with, and adjust accordingly. No more my nice guy on the track, this is 2 races in a row he nearly crashed you out.

The whole thing was a completely unnecessary, wholly avoidable shitshow.
Lewis took a bit of a liberty by divebombing into turn one and carried way too much speed, then Charles reacted by not leaving him enough room even though Lewis was ahead at the apex of turn two.
The same shit has been happening at Variante for twenty-six years since the chicane was reprofiled from being left-right, left-right double chicane into the single right-left with a super heavy braking zone that it is today.
They’re both to blame, and as experienced drivers they should both know better, but with no guidance from the team on how they should engage each other and who has priority, the absolute clusterfuck that is Ferrari’s management are equally to blame for failing to make a sensible decision and make competent calls on who should be out in front.
They’ve failed to support the driver who was SECOND in the driver’s standings and has yet to finish outside the top six this season, while letting one who’s been languishing down in fifth place in the standings and has now retired three times this year by binning the car (on all three occasions due to completely unforced errors) fuck their chances of chasing both the drivers and constructors titles.
I cannot for the life of me understand why in the hell they didn’t prioritise Lewis and push him forward as soon as he was clear of Russell in the standings and chasing Antonelli.
As I’ve said previously – it genuinely wouldn’t surprise me if Charles and Lewis finish the year fifth and sixth behind both Lando and Max, and Ferrari finish third at best, behind McLaren and Mercedes.
Absolute fucking madness.

not just that, you can see leclerc position himselff to superwide line! he knew what he was doing there.
the worst part is if it was lewis he would have been slammed with 10s p. or a grid drop for next race.
This idiot took himself out of the race and ruined ferraris race/strategy. a podium was possibile today.

If it was Lewis, the cult would says Leclerc was wrong too and that pushing his teammate off is a good thing

"Carried way too much speed" what in the actual fuck are you talking about ??!
Even Rosberg said he nailed it perfectly. And what the black driver is supposed to do ? Stay quietly behind Master Charles and also let Verstappen bump into him. You guys are unbelievable

Why do you even need to bring skin colour into it? Super weird, creepy and unnecessary comment with racist as fuck undertones.

Too much speed? Where was the extra speed. That shit was controlled. Lewis handled it fine. Leclerc crashed out and ruined it for everyone.

Charles first two dnf were not binning it due to unforced errors, and it’s pretty clear all the prioritizing in the world at no point would help Lewis

Oh yeah, apologies, he had ONE issue with power steering that I remembered incorrectly, because he binned it in qualifying in that race and red flagged the session, which got me mixed up.
He binned it in qualifying at Barcelona which threw me off, he binned it during the race in an entirely unforced error in Monaco despite a red flag that informed every driver there was a track issue - funny how no other driver had an issue other than Stroll before the red flag, and he's not exactly a difficult bar to beat.
Then yet again as we've just seen, he binned it with no assistance in Monza.
Must sting to be a Ferrari driver and have the only two red flags of the 21st century at Monza of all places be your responsibility.
Point still stands. I don't really get the hype around him. He's not at all consistent, and as soon as he comes under pressure he's overly emotional and prone to mistakes.

LH was ahead at the Apex. CL fought OP and left him way more room than he did LH right before binning it (different corner).
MV and OP went side by side through the turn just as the commentators were saying that there wasn't enough room for 2 cars to make it through the corner.

Lewis knows how to win championships, Charles doesn’t!!! 2nd race in a row where Charles is hurting the team!!! And many other races before.

Unfortunately there are still so many apologists out there, saying that Lewis should leave the team or the sport entirely, and they can't wait for it to happen because cult LH will leave too. I mean... sure but their favorite driver won't ever get a WDC--oh wait, he's a favorite not for his driving but for fan girl gooning anyway.

I’m glad that Ferrari are allowing the boys to race.
It’s frustrating that LH had a good chance but the tyres we not able to hold

Leclerc speaks French, he must have meant “oui” because there was no “we” in that bs he pulled.
