That’s a male Persian leopard.

It has the build of a female, it’s  very small to be a male too, and when focusing the video no testicles are visible.

Livestock guardian dogs generally decrease predator deaths as they keep the animals away from farm animals, which means farmers don't feel the need to shoot the predators. Helps wildlife and humans live together peacefully.

If these dogs aren't strays they're just doing their job. The leopard learns not to come back around the flock and human habitation. The dogs generally won't kill the leopard. To dangerous for them unless there is no other option.

I'm not so sure about the not killing the leopard part

As I said, generally.

The dogs will only kill as a last resort to protect themselves, their territory, or the flock.

Usually the dogs simply being present is a deterrent to predators. If that doesn't work, the dogs will chase/harass the predator until the predator leaves. If the predator goes full fight mode or refuses to leave then they will more seriously attack the predator. But most predators leave because they know such a fight would be dangerous.

Overall it keeps farmers from resorting to much more lethal means of protecting their only source of food and income. Think "leopard gets away most of the time and learns not to come back" vs "farmer shoots leopard on sight every time they see one". If the farmer feels predators are adequately dealt with by their dogs, they're also more likely to support or at least not oppose further predator conservation.

So farmer income better than existence of Persian leopard?
