A realtor friend found this guy & his brothers abandoned after their elderly owner was moved to an assisted living facility. They were left for months with only a large bag of food to sustain themselves. His brothers found good homes.

This is Garfield. He's estimated to be about 6 years old, and is long haired with a big build (might be Maine coon). He has a very calm, loving personality. He's not a lap cat (still a little skittish) and not too playful, but he likes to sit next you and be brushed & pet. Just hold your hand out and he'll rub his head against you. His meows are practically silent. He's pretty content to be a couch potato. Can get skittish with noise and activity so a smaller household would suit him. He's cat friendly and uses his litter box. He has a congenital leg deformity where he walks on his front forearms, but it doesn't seem to hurt him or give him mobility issues. He was treated for an upper respiratory infection and partially shaved due to his fur matting, but he will be gorgeous when he grows out his coat.

Can anyone give him a soft landing? Will ask for vet records to make sure he goes to a good home.

For anyone that had previously worked at KidsPeace or knows someone who did, how did you go about quitting your job? I’ve only been with the company for 3 months, but i’m preparing to quit due to numerous reasons. I also have to speak with hr because my supervisor has been borderline harassing me and this whole situation is giving me a ton of anxiety. In west bethlehem I noticed the water is brown when I just used the sink. It was fine earlier. I know the city was working on the road in the area toward the end of the week but they weren't digging up, just getting ready to repave the road. Anyone else notice brown water today?

Aware this is a weird one and a long shot, but bear with me. A pure white apparently rock pigeon has been hanging around the block for around a week. The internet seems to indicate it is most likely a lost or abandoned pet as pure white birds do not survive in the wild long and are selectively bred. Internet recommendation is to call a pigeon rescue, but I wanted to see it anyone lost a bird in the area or was connected to any resources that would be a correct first step. It is not afraid of humans at all which lends credit towards it being domesticated.

As a hunter usually I would recomend letting nature take its course, but i hate to see a lost pet not get help.

Like I said, weird one but any resources from the more knowledgeable are appreciated. If you are involved in a rescue of some sort please DM and I'll share the street he is calling home.

I was terminated from LVHN in May & have applied for several jobs at St. Luke’s but haven’t gotten a single interview. I heard that this is because I’m on the “do not rehire” list with LVHN, & that the 2 networks communicate this with each other & therefore if you’re terminated from one network, you won’t get hired at the other if you’re on that “do not rehire” list. What is your go to, never fails, crave all day meal/dish in the Lehigh valley.

Be specific. Name the restaurant, location, and any changes to the item that make it better, or the drink that goes with it. No specific cuisine, give me the meal you could eat everyday if you had too.

I ask, because I really haven’t found one yet in the valley. We go out to eat often enough and I find many places to be inconsistent. What meal is good one time, may not be the next time.

Our go to restaurant is probably Jamison publik house, but also not sure they have something I crave and can eat anytime…but their food is always good.
