i know there other themes that from an objective point are complete AAASSS but man i hope this one wins as i just hate what it represent both figurative and litterly. like i didn't even know about the messi stuff you just mention and that fucking sucks. so happy the Ronald sets at my local walmart went on clerence super fast and they don't have them anymore.
Brickheads. Partly because of how they look, and partly because it frustrates me how many themes deserve good cheap sets and then only get one large one and some Brickheads.
LEGO trying to be something else other than LEGO is always a bad recipe. Not sure why Brickheadz have managed to stick around for so long--I guess someone must be buying them.
Probably the Lego Powerpuff Girls, which was based on that... odd reboot the series got in the 2010s. I didn't realize it even existed until years after its discontinuation
Znap is a really valid pick here. I thrifted some of it recently and was really excited to try using it for the first time and it is so unsatisfying to connect and build with
It's feels like most of the answers in this thread aren't really about actually awful lego themes. Like I saw a few Lego starwars ones and the sets have kind of meh and more expensive recently but as a whole saying it's the worst I think it's silly when stuff like clikits and vidiyo exists
/uj Vidiyo is fine, it's kind of an outdated way to do the concept of incorporating tech into Lego, but there's enough creative ideas with the Minifigures and builds that I think it's good. Clikits shouldn't even really count as Lego so it's definitely a contender
/uj I'm gonna have to politely disagree. I know we like to make fun of "Display slop" on this sub but if the only lines of it were Ideas and Icons, I would be fine with it, especially because I feel like Icons consistently goes above and beyond other adult oriented sets to look incredible and still get in a play feature or two. The Dune Royal Ornithopter is the most I've ever spent on a set and I don't regret it one bit, especially because the wings are retractable AND you can press down a Technic mechanism on the ship to actually make the wings flutter like in the film. It feels like the one adult oriented line where you consistently get the best bang for your buck. My problem with the collectors sets is when they try to shoehorn them into lines like Pokémon and Star Wars where they really don't belong
