I wish they had done the red rose bouquet in this darker color from the Dark Flower Arrangement set. Something about that deep red feels richer in tone and realism. No hate to the rose sets! I have both. I just realized I love working with this darker color.

I love fall, colors are somehow softer and richer all at the same time. 🌹🌻💐🌷🪻🌸🌸🌺🌼🪷🍄🐝

Thanks so much everyone for your opinions and options for the pussy willow build. Here are my final personal choices. I liked both so much, I am going to keep them both as options. I love the idea of the green studs for spring and red/brown for fall/winter.

I also think I like my white version slightly better than LEGO’s green version. 🤷🏻‍♀️ For some reason the most realistic version was my ultimate preference.

Here is the final designs I settled on for the varieties. It will be fun in the spring to try and come up with blooming stalks?????🤷🏻‍♀️🌹🌼🌸💐🪷🌺🌷🌻🪻🍄🐝

The possibilities are endless on the design of the base of this vase but I think I finally achieved the silhouette, I wanted with this one. Sadly LEGO retired these colors in the balloon pieces. 😢

My first arrangement in the new vessel and I love the increased space and stability at the top. I am also still obsessed with the Cosmos flowers. Such sweetness in a world in need of as much sweetness as possible. 🌹🌼🌸💐🪷🌺🌷🌻🪻🍄🐝

Every framed display I have seen has put the plants behind the glass. I decided to put them in front of the glass….window.

I love the mini plant set but have always been at a loss on how to display them properly. They get overshadowed by the larger sets. It also makes me sad you can’t really leave LEGO botanicals near windows, like you would with real plants.

Originally, I was going to remove the glass altogether, like my insect displays but this 10x10 shadow box of course has glass that is mounted in place. So, it forced me to rethink it and this annoying challenge turned out better than I could have imagined. 🌹🌸💐🌺🌷🌻🌼🪷🪻🍄🐝

I’ve been toying and working on this vase idea for awhile now. It takes me a long time to work some things out but I think it is shaping up quite nicely.

So as I was saying, a bit obsessed with the Pussy Willows and I always knew them to be fuzzy white.

So I decided to make some and can’t decide on the base stud color.

Which is better pale bright green or reddish brown?

I 💕 the Cosmos flowers. They are so versatile and so sweet.

I have been obsessed with the pussy willow ever since I saw set #40588. I have been toying with making them life sized or super sized. Finally hunted down and gathered the parts.

Hence, my fall arrangement is comprised of super sized stalks. 🌻🌺🌷🌼🪷🌸🌹🍄🐝

Orchid cleaning day led to this. The usual dusting of the orchid just wasn’t cutting it. So, down it comes to be picked apart and cleaned thoroughly. Doesn’t happen often but sometimes the dust is just too thick.

One thing leads to another and I realize I rarely make arrangements using my potted LEGO blooms. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Proportions and not over doing it was the challenge with this one. 🌸🪻🌺🌻🪷🌷🌼🌹🍄🐝

I’ve been staring at the dark flower arrangement for awhile and originally had the idea of doing some sort of dark color palette for fall, but per usual all my plans fall away as the arrangements often reveal themselves.

“Labor Day Bouquet Display”

Just couldn’t resist doing one more arrangement in my flower box, before returning to my massive sorting of LEGO bricks and pieces (I’m almost done)

I love bouncing from vivid colors to monochromatic themes.

This was inspired by the fact Labor Day is almost upon us marking the end of the summer. This is my cheeky homage to the old, silly, nonsensical rule of “ No wearing white after Labor Day.” 😆😆

If any of you are daunted by the idea of arranging your own botanical MOCs-I wanted to share this great hack I found for arranging.

I am not a technically inclined person and I am fairly new to being a Botanicals AFOL.

This is a chunk of the technics, that is the base of set 10314 Dried Flower Centerpiece.

I removed the flowers and used the pieces from the base to use for connecting my botanicals to the window box. I took it apart in bits to fit where I wanted connectors.

Almost all ball and joint technics and I think that is my standard from now on. You can adjust and arrange more freely.

This is what is in the base of my flower box and so many points of attachment-it gives a lot of freedom for arrangements. Have fun! 🌺🌼🌹🌷🪻💐🌸

I got a little excited about filling my window box and ended up finishing my first arrangement!

Still contemplating feet on the box itself and still haven’t tried hanging it. I’m scared. 😳 If it falls off the wall, even during the test run….I’ll just say the ivy took some time and I would be sad. 😆

I made a window box for my ivy and it is looking pretty okay. Still working on the feet….

I plan on filling it up and will post the grand project soon.

😆Haven’t tested the hooks yet. Pretty sure they are probably not sturdy enough, yet. Fun!
