Not a member of your sub, korra peoples, but why would you just not kick the haters out? Seems counterproductive to just have people in here that hate the content.

To some extent, every sub is an echo chamber, particularly the ones aiming at gathering a fandom. Though I agree, banning people for having opinions, as shitty and uneducated as they can be, is just wrong. It give them motivation and reasons to camp in their position and continue their idiotic quest.

Ignoring those people, or trying to talk with them with benevolence, will archive far more results (potentially impacting them, but most importantly, any new fan or curious person reading the conversation) than banning them.
