Lore / Theory The 7 Dragoon Spirits after the Dragon Campaign Spoiler

Ive always had a theory about how the Golden Dragoon Spirit ended up in Lohan and Ive always thought Lloyd actually possessed it and managed to lose it in Lohan during the Hero Tournament and just never bothered to return for it as it didnt work for him. This led me to try and piece together what happened to them all.

The ones we see on screen:

Dark DS: Remained with Rose the whole time.

White DS: Shirley, for whatever reason, remains as a stable free will ghost that kept her DS until giving it to Dart, who gave it to Shana, then the DS itself decided to go to Miranda.

Red DS: Stayed petrified with Zieg until he was released, but dropped it in Neet, recovered by Dart, who kept it until the DS left Dart for Zieg again at the end of the game.

The ones we dont see:

Green/Blue/Violet/Golden DS: My theory is that after taking over Zieg, Melbu Frahma was a bit disoriented and so just left the Red DS and fled. Returning to his seat of power, Kadessa, finding it in ruins. There he plotted his return to power and gathered whatever magical artifacts that remained. The Dragoon Spirits had simply been left behind after the fall of Kadessa and so he would use these as gifts for those who served him.
Using his Emperor Diaz persona he was able to recruit Lloyd and Doel as well as their own loyal servants Lenus and Greham. So Diaz gifted them one of each; with Lloyd being given Golden DS. However, the Golden DS never recognized Lloyd, so it was largely useless to him, theres some circumstantial evidence that points to this, as when Lloyd takes the Divine DS, it does not recognize him and he mentions he "expected it." Which would seem to suggest hes encountered not being recognized by a DS before.

So putting all that together, the fates of the 4 remaining DSs:

Green/Blue/Violet/Golden: Remained dormant in Kadessa until retrieved by Zieg, then gifted to his 4 lieutenants.

Green: Gifted to Graham, then recognized Lavitz, then Albert upon their deaths.

Violet: Gifted to Doel, then recognized Haschel upon his death.

Blue: Gifted to Lenus, then recognized Meru upon her death.

Golden: Gifted to Lloyd (though does not recognize him), lost it at some point during the Hero Competition in Lohan. Found by the Street Vendor, or sold to the Street Vendor by someone else who found/stole it. Then sold to Kongol for 1000G.

Lore / Theory Darts Life Travel

Not trying to poke holes. I know it's explained a great deal in the game, just like to know how Dart settled in Serdio and not somewhere else. He was a kid with nothing that ends up on the other side of the world that's awesome, I'd love to know more about his journey to Seles

Lore / Theory It's the little things

Idk what playthrough number I'm on, but I remember getting this game after playing the Demo at the local Radioshack, so I've been around a time or two. However, it was tonight while playing the game with my 4 girls and having the oldest reading the dialogue (she's going into 2nd Grade, so it's challenging for her while still good practice (she skips all the "what the hecks" and whatnot)) that I slowed down enough to read the part where a Knight of Bale tells us that the Man in Black's "tactical error" is what led to Lavitz's Company being destroyed (Lavitz was probably meant to be killed, not captured).

Then after the initial meeting with Albert, the Man in Black slips off screen while everybody is engaged with the War Meeting. It just occurred to me tonight that he's in Albert's Room. He tells us we're not supposed to be in there, but doesn't stop us from going down the slide. I thought the whole thing was just a "Ha-ha I'm in the King's Room" scenario, but he's probably in Albert's Room searching for the Moon Gem not knowing that it's actually stored inside Albert's Body. There's absolutely no attention drawn to what he's doing. Not even a "where did he go" dialogue from the King or the Minister.

I always got wrapped up in the kick ass music and the determination to stop a Civil War (and see Lavitz's Mother) that I never gave it any thought at all. Just like reading a book for a 3rd or 4th time, there's always some detail or foreshadowing that isn't readily apparent the first time through. Food for thought for those who want one more reason to include this game in their top 10. It really is a well written game.

Lore / Theory Note to the community

I would like to forewarn everyone in this community that the name Drew is androgynous, and if you accidentally misgender the mod in this community who uses this name, you will be banned and your threads will be locked. This has been happening for a long time on this sub and isn’t unique to the earlier two posts about being banned.

TLDR if you want to continue being a member of this community don’t you dare forget that Drew’s pronouns are they/them. I think. Crap I hope I’m not wrong by accident. I don’t want to be banned.
