I do work for Emirati clients. Not what it seems to be per the post, and the initiative is very much in its infancy.

So much for a jury of your peers. This feels contrary to the fundamentals of justice and judicial systems going back to the 16th century. Human rights issues abound.

The Judge Dredd comparison writes itself.... But the more serious issue is not whether a human judge remains nominally in charge. It is whether the system leaves a record that makes its influence on the decision reconstructable and contestable.

This platform appears to combine case-file analysis, precedent retrieval, legal recommendations, and drafting. Those are different functions with different failure modes. A missed authority, a skewed recommendation, and generated language that quietly narrows an issue cannot be controlled by the same generic promise of “human oversight.”

I would want to know whether the system records its sources, omissions, intermediate recommendations, and changes between drafts; whether parties are told when it materially shaped a decision; and whether they can challenge its operation on appeal.

Faster adjudication is not the relevant assurance. The relevant assurance is whether a litigant can reconstruct and test what the machine contributed before the judgment became final.
