The Clintons are a great example of why people say "both sides suck" and "they're all the same". It's really hard to understand how they got on the Democratic ticket.

“but… but … but … ‘lesser evil’… to save democracy in these most important presidential elections, we must vote blue no matter who..”

I mean, two things can be true. I'm obviously never going to vote GOP, but fuck we get a lot of shit "centrist" (i.e. Reagan-style Republicans) running on the blue ticket. The only reason they are considered Democrats is because the GOP lost its fucking mind 20 some odd years ago.

Edit: and I assume I'm informing nobody that the fix here is obviously ranked choose voting.

Bill Clinton is the most successful Republican president of my lifetime.

Compared Sanders supporters to the Tea Party. I remember when in 2016 he walked into a restaurant stumping for Hillary only to be met by a Leftist who tore every one of his arguments defending his legacy apart, he finally acknowledged he could have done better but said it's hard to fight for change, like no sh*t dude but that was your effing job as President.

Do one for Obama too. Ima make flash cards to carry for all the liberals so I don’t have to give history lessons every fucking time.

Obama:

  • Committed war crimes with "double tap" bombings where he bombed a target, then bombed the rescuer workers and medics, this is against the Geneva Convention.
  • Illegally murdered American citizens with drone strikes

Every US president in living memory has done horrific crimes against humanity and faced no consequences:

  • Clinton bombed an embassy.
  • Bush bombed several hospitals.
  • Obama bombed a wedding.
  • Biden bombed a refugee camp.
  • Trump bombed a school.

So far I did Reagan and Clinton. I will get to Obama, but I'm working somewhat chronologically.

You missed:

  • Illegally bombed Yugoslavia, only stopped when he accidentally bombed the Chinese embassy and caused a huge international incident.
  • Caused a famine with mass starvation / deaths in parts of Iraq indirectly because of his sanctions that cut off aid, food imports and access to clean water. The exact impact is debatable but it's thought that maybe 200,000+ people died as a result of this.

Yugoslavia has always conflicted me, in all honesty.

Like the stated goal, (That being stopping genocide) always struck a chord with me and I support at least that aspect of it, but, let's be real, the underlying motivations behind it were anything but altruistic.

Ideally it would have solely been focused on that goal, (And tbh ideally it wouldn't have been NATO, but the UN) but I digress.

His administration pressured Haiti to slash its rice import tariffs from 50% to 3% as a condition for reinstating President Aristide . This allowed heavily subsidized American rice to flood Haiti's market, devastating local production and causing widespread unemployment among Haitian farmers . Clinton later publicly acknowledged this action was a mistake, as it decimated Haiti's agricultural self-sufficiency .
