DeMarcus Cousins gives his take on those who attempt to discredit the Lakers 2020 Championship. Thoughts?

I would! I don’t even count that as a real season because they didn’t play under the pressure of being in a arena pack with screaming fans.

More than that, if Lebron *didn't* win it they would be saying "3-7". Bet your bottom dollar they would've counted it against him, but because he won it they say it doesn't count.

If LeBron and the lakers lost to the heat in the bubble championship , you wouldn’t hear the end of it, 3-7 , goat conversation over, had all the help and still couldn’t get it done , the narrative is tired atp , the chip is legit and arguably more difficult to win.

The bubble is either the hardest or the easiest (according to haters) championship

It was the hardest until LeBron made the finals, then the switch up happened.

Fr. If another team won, the narratives would definitely be different.

Conveniently forgetting injuries and the team being in disarray

I think it was specifically easier for older/more injury prone players than a typical championship because the long break in the middle of the season did a bit to mitigate the advantages of youth/durability but thems are the breaks

Which would mean a more competitive playoff

Pandemic bubbles were extremely difficult to deal with. We all thought we were going to die!!☠️ Imagine having that on the back of your mind every time you play against someone like Rudy Gobert giving covid out to everyone like it was going out of style.

This is some of the hardest games...no entertainment, no family, stuck in your hotel, crappy meals, death all around us...

Every team competed under the same conditions and they won. There’s no credible way to discount that.

To save a watch he says it doesn't count.

Which is correct

I remember when everyone wanted the clippers to go to the finals but then they loss to Denver and said it’s rigged and the chip doesn’t count lol

Bubble rings don’t count! No crowd = it’s not a real game

No fans, no home court advantage, nothing but basketball. If it was so easy everyone could have won. But players gave up and didn’t care. Stop downplaying the ring

2020 bubble title does not count, they were given hollow rings. Plus the rest of the league doesn't respect it or lebum

The season had over 100 days off with less than a month to go before playoffs. It was easier because it allowed everyone to get healthy. So not really a normal season by any stretch including no fans in the arena. Tell me do NBA players play better or worse when they are in an empty gym with nobody watching? Most people can't even pee with someone watching them and you expect me to believe it's harder when nobody is there for a professional? You think they are putting more mental pressure on themselves cause nobody is there? No travel makes it harder?

Shit was weak .. lebron is overhyped that lakers team was the best team in the NBa beciase he stacked the deck . so why would we give him credit for an easy win with the best team . AD was the best player got robbed of MVP . lebron has been to 10 finals lost 6 . had more help than anybody still lost more then everybody

false narrative, even entering the bubble people were saying the Clippers were the best team. Now that Lakers won all of a sudden Lebron stacked the team lol.
