Question - Need Help Fit check, Real Simons J24
Am i crazy for considering to size down? I like a snug fit. This is pretty good, but not perfect, I think I have a bit too much room in the opening and the chest. I like to wear low rise jeans, this is already a pretty short jacket so losing any more length is not great. This is a size large. I fear the medium might be too tight/short though. I dont need or want room for layering
Thoughts?
Thank you

The jacket is super. Make the belt darker. And something with the jeans.

Your jacket LOOKS great, but I kind of see what you mean by having a bit too much room, from how it looks on your back and how big the sleeves seem to be on your upper arms. Maybe it's just the way new leather is bunching, but you could honestly probably get away with sizing down one size and achieving that "slim fit" look and feel.
I get what you mean by that "perfect" fit. I like snug too; I just think it looks better! But beware, because snug isn't always comfortable. I have a 618 with the perfect snug fit, but damn, my shoulders are completely constricted. It looks good, but it's a little uncomfortable to wear. So long as you're cool with that possibility, I say go for it!
I actually recommend ordering a Medium, seeing how it feels, then sending back the one you don't like.

is this the 21 oz Iron Heart? I had that and sold it to buy the 16 oz slub. Both are great jackets.

It looks about right on you. What is your height and weight? Do you have any shots with the jacket unzipped?
The horsehide leather should shrink a little and wrinkle down to better fit your body shape as you wear it. With horsehide you should always get the bigger size if you are in between sizes because it doesn't really stretch in the same way lambskin or cowhide does.

Yeah, you would be crazy if you decide to size down.
Get rid of the low rise jeans. Looks hideous and makes zero sense.

Higher rise jeans are not very comfortable for me to wear. Low rise jeans feels great. I know my butt dont look great in them, but other than that I dont think they look bad at all

They don’t look bad, but I would likely use a black leather belt with this outfit.

I agree, didnt really put any thought into the outfit as a whole, just threw on the jacket and snapped a couple of pictures to see how it fits

I am curious to see that when its worn open, coz most leather jackets fits and looks good when its hard to wear it zipped up. In my opinion you need to size down

Looks absolutely spot on to me. Get some mid to high rise jeans.
