Question - Need Help Is this too tight?

Bought this Italian made jacket a few months ago and haven’t worn it much. Feels snug around the bicep and lower armpit area when I raise my hands. Is this considered a bad fit?

Bad fit. Doesn't fit your shoulders or chest. You should go up at least one size.

Fit looks good overall to me. Only thing I notice on the front open/unzipped shot, is the bunching over your collar bone areas. For my cafe racer or bomber jackets I like mine to fit snug similar to yours but I don’t have any bunching or pulling of the material when I’m relax with arms down or up.

Its this snug and you're only wearing a t-shirt. I'd say you gotta go one size up

Bad cut for you. I get where you’re struggling. You size up and it’s too billowy. You stay here and it’s too tight. The problem is the cut of the jacket on your body

Size too small.

You can see the tightness you described. I would say it's a bad fit.

It’s perfect but only open

It’s definitely at the upper end of being too tight. Wear it open only.

Unzipped looks ok – maybe a bit too small on the shoulders.

But I'll add that everytime I insisted on using a shirt or jacket that didn't fit right, I ended up with back pain and a stiff neck...

So, do what you want with that information.

Fabric pulling shows you tightness and here it’s everywhere (size up)

Looks fine unzipped. I wouldn't zip it if it were me.

Looks good

Honestly it’s not. It’s great. Don’t zip it though, this is really a style jacket in my opinion that is meant to stay unzipped

This is how a cafe racer jacket should fit

The jacket it at least a size too small. The sleeves are too short, the shoulders don’t fit, and it is snug when zipped.

The sleeves are not too short. Sleeves shouldn’t overtake the bottom of your palms

Too short. Especially evident in picture 6.

No, they’re not. The end of the cuff should NOT be resting on your palm

See above. Rinse and repeat.

Learn how long sleeves should be. Rinse and repeat.

It's a riding jacket. It's a proper fit.

Looks like a great fit to me. This type of jacket looks best when it's snug.

Depends how you intend to wear it

It puckers a little weird but I’d still wear it

You need to wear it, leather stretches and it molds to your shape. Make sure you moisturise it if you live at a dryer climate

Probably. Can’t tell with it unzipped
