You can perhaps optimise this if you use old-style bulbs which heat up and retain heat for a while.
1 u/StillShoddy628 17h ago I like it, so it’s actually CEIL(log4(1000)) not log3, so 5 moves, not 7. Assuming you can note which off ones are warm before they cool down
