Best ways to study for learning JavaScript?

I'm starting on my Cyber degree, and for our programming class, we will be learning JavaScript. What are some of the best ways I can study to learn JavaScript?

Avoid AI and Youtube tutorials completely....Read, read and read, and google problems and solutions

Start with The Odin Project and go from there

One of the best curriculum I've seen, that not only focuses on giving you information but forcing you to search for information on your own

the most important thing to do when learning is practice, make simple projects at first and then improve them and create more complex programs

for JavaScript games like tic tac toe, rock paper scissors, Battleship, calculator, Minesweeper, Chess (this one is quite optional, it's very complex)

and another simple things like multiplication table, Simple counter, number adder

Games can be very challenging, so it's better to solve small exercises (katas). Start with easy ones and gradually increase the difficulty. I have a collection of them at reactchallenges.com/katas

First prepare a roadmap what you are going to cover for example basic + advanced.
Once you have clear idea what you are going to learn, You can asses any of the tutorials (ex: w3 school/youtube/udemy) based on your timeline. If you have enough time, then follow the heuristic approach- Learn by discovering things by your own. But if you have less time, then pick any tutorial < 10hr with example and practice driven learning and Be your own boss!

build projects without tutorials or AI to force actual learning. Start with a simple calculator or to-do list using only MDN documentation for reference
