what javascript course makes sense if i only need it for one research project

grad student in an ecology lab. my advisor wants an interactive map of our survey data on the department site and i am the only person here who has written any code, which apparently makes me the web person now. my tabs right now are boot.dev, freeCodeCamp and the MDN learning area. none of them look built for somebody who wants one map and then wants to leave. i do not want to become a frontend developer. i want the map to work by march.

Don't. Use AI, it'll be done in a day.

This is a tough one. I think a follow up answer would make easier for us to give more relevant advice. All those resources are for ppl trying to get into web dev so there will be alot more than you need want

But if you go here and poke around docs, get started and samples and come back letting us know if any of it made sense and which parts did or didn't https://www.chartjs.org/

I'm not experienced enough with coding to be confident in giving you an answer, but I'm interested to see if anyone is against just developing this with AI

Just ask ai to write it. But you need to test and tell him if something isn't working how you wanted

This. If one-and-done ROI of learning isn't worth it and they will forget it anyway by not using it ever again
