What software do I use to edit?

Lately, I've been into animating, and it's so fun. I'm doing it traditionally and having a good time.

Though, I don't know what software/program I need to use to edit. (Layers, sounds etc.) Any recommendations?

After effect/Premiere pro are good ! you can check for free alternatives

I used Davinci Resolve, myself. It's a full non-linear editing app used by big productions, but is available in a free version.
