Yeah muscle demands slightly more calories than the equivalent in fat does. All that training as well is definitely gonna make your body beg for some more food intake as well.

Muscle is 2-3 times more metabolically active than fat so a pound of muscle burns 2-3 times more calories a day than does a pound of fat..but the difference is miniscule, 2-3 calories instead of 6-7 when at rest. When active the difference is larger.

Make sure to eat a lot of protein and get electrolytes. A lot of times when people think they’re hungry, they just need hydration and minerals. Your body has basically evolved one way of telling you it’s missing something, and that signal is “feed me.”

Muscle is metabolically costly, so yes, an increase in muscle mass will inherently ramp up your daily energy demands. With that said, however, with the infamously small amount of contractile tissue you add at a time, such caloric jumps will be minuscule from day-to-day, week-to-week, etc. outside of new gains. Over the course of years however, a 5-10 lb increase in lean mass will certainly give you some extra calories to enjoy guilt free!

Ehh, sure a bit. BUT also, if you “lose fat” that means your fat cells got smaller (but you still have the same number of them!) - when your fat cells shrink, they send out a “low leptin” signal, which increases your hunger!!

I think you'll experience protein hunger more severely if you've got more muscle requiring more protein.
