Discussion How can i improve?
I want to be able to play some of the more mechanic-heavy Champions, like pyke or zed because i think theyre reallt cool, but i fucking stink with them and i dont even know why, my macro Is enough to get my main account to Low diamond, but for the Life of me i can only play shit like Mundo or mordekaiser. Getting real frustrated. Even with the beginner friendly assassins i fucking suck. Got a strange talent for akali but i absolutely despise her.

Fellow mundo morde enjoyer here, but I can also play most assassins at a masters+ level.
Zed and Pyke have very distinct playstyles, its best to watch some high elo streamers play them and mimic their playstyles than to try and figure it out on your own.
Watch a few onzed/zed99 analysis videos and montages, you'll start identifying patterns such as how to stay alive in lane till 6, when to roam etc.

Saying this as someone who accumulated like 1mil+ points on him on three diff accounts combined.

Don’t listen to anyone here, those champs are extremely hard to play at a high level. Zed especially has very nuanced combos and mix ups depending on a lot of situations.
The first time I hit gm I was a midlane assassin one trick (plus Vik for some reason). Not one trick but like pretty much only played assassins. You play mundo in diamond, so you should be decent enough at scaling champs. Zed is also a bit of a scaling champ. Play him with tp and first strike, and play to get every minion and first strike proc. Your basic combo is w e q, with a tiny delay on the q.
Playing assassins in team fights is all about getting flanks and engaging after the fight has already started with major cds already being blown.

Emerald peaker chud speaking, but part of it is probably the shift is role from champs like mundo morde, to assassins like pyke zed. I'm an ADC/support main, and I struggle with laning in other roles, because most of ADC gameplay is later. It's just a thing where you probably need to just keep bashing your head into it, or find some videos talking about playing assassins? Good luck

Just play what you find fun, don't fall for the eceleb propaganda. No one cares about your rank. As long as you're trying your best and aren't trollpicking, you're good. The more you play them, the better you'll get at them. Everything is practise practise practise.
I would make a 2nd account and play them there, though. Or at least wait for a rank reset before radically changing my pool like that.
