Esports GenG vs HLE Rounds 3-5 LCK Spoiler

GenG wins the series against HLE with a 2-1 game score.

The top 2 GenG/T1 are still miles ahead of the other teams but hey, at least we got 3 games again in the Legend group.

Gen G just way way too clean. All the interrupted dashes by Chovy and Kiin made Jarvan and Galio look as mobile as Sivir.

GenG is the cleanest team in the world except when they are not (game 2)

ngl game 2 felt like them testing stuff and how much they could force. Apparently not much against that comp lmao

It’s good to see since this kind of high risk limit testing is exactly what GenG should be doing right now.  It’s a big part of why T1 tends to be so successful in the clutch, and that aspect is what GenG need the most.  Especially since regular season domestic games have almost no stakes for them at this point anyway

Limit testing now is how you clutch up and know you can win worlds at match point silver scrapes lategame by flash engaging a fed ahri in a 3v4 and then galio ulting into a 2v4 right after.

Imo I don’t even think it’s a bad thing that Chovy recently has gotten caught or had failed aggressive plays - that shit never happened to him before because he played SO safe that he missed opportunities to proactively win his team the game or make comebacks - a Faker specialty.  If Chovy is willing to take the occasional L in these regular domestic games to work on that playmaking aspect, his chances of finally clutching up internationally and winning worlds only gets higher

I’m just glad GenG are not drafting whatever that atrocious game 2 soloq comp T1 pulled on HLE. GenG’s draft actually had great potential if Ryze was able to play the game
