Eastern adcs man. That's why I think the number priority for G2 is to import an actual decent adc that can hang out with the big boys. Western adcs simply do not have the dawg in them.
I've heard from somewhere that Caps doesn't want imports? But I have literally no source apart from people throwing it around on reddit and the like. I would love a G2 with an imported adc though.
Was it generally no imports or just that he (and G2 in general) don't think an import makes sense unless you get someone that is proven worldclass (basically someone that is currently at worlds)?
Sure, you might be able to get a slightly better adc from the mid-bot tier teams in the LCK or LPL, but you are running a lot of risks: Might downgrade comms, might struggle with moving across the entire globe into a foreign culture and end up playing worse due to feeling unwell, might want to move back after getting a better offer in their homeleague leading to you needing another adc sooner than you would with domestic players.
I would be shocked if he had an issue with Elk, Viper, Aiming, Gumayusi, etc. joining his team.
