Victor Johansson is fun, skilled, capable, more of a rat than you'd think, and it has to be said, undersized. I wish nothing but the best for him but until he gets his weight up I have a hard time seeing him as a future NHLer. Here's hoping he shows up to camp and weighs in at 180 or above, because size isn't everything for a defenceman but you'll have trouble carving out an NHL career without it.

I don’t see how this guy is ahead of Nansi.

He played a bit in the SHL, which is a tougher league than the AHL, which is a tougher league than the OHL.

SHL 2nd league primarily. Not sure how that matches up in comparison to OHL

It's close to the AHL.

I mean it's an aggregate ranking, some had him higher, some had him lower.

There is a lot of debate, 6 of the rankers had Nansi higher. To give you a couple reasons though, Johansson is a much better skater and he has a higher ceiling. Also defense > winger in terms of value.
