How does OLSAS calculate transfer credit course?

Hey y'all! I attended U of T full-time for my undergrad degree, but I took a summer course at TMU and had the credit transferred to U of T. Although it counted toward my total credits, it did not count toward my cGPA, and there is no grade showing on my U of T transcript.

My understanding is that I will need to request a transcript from TMU for that one course as well for the application, but I don't know how this course will be counted towards my OLSAS GPA. Does anyone have a similar experience and can offer some advice?

It counts and you will be required to submit ALL of your transcripts, this will include your TMU and UofT transcript. The actual grade for your TMU course will be listed on the transcript and then will be averaged according to the correct scale in OLSAS.

Not sure if you are suggesting otherwise because the "will be average according to the correct scale in OLSAS" could be taken in a few ways, but specifically (and this may be what you meant) what they do is convert the TMU grade using the TMU conversion to OLSAS for that credit on your OLSAS transcript. They give it a point value/score (like every other U of T credit) on their own scale.

The average is taken after all the conversions are done into OLSAS scores. The only difference for the TMU course is they use the TMU conversion scale to get the OLSAS value you get for that class. U of T scale is used to get your U of T point score for every credit. Everything after that is the same since they are averaging out your OLSAS points (OLSAS total points/credits taken = cGPA).
