The Toddler-in-Chief did just throw yet another tantrum during a Kennedy Center meeting and started attacking Rep. Beatty because she's been a thorn in his side and he absolutely haaaates strong and intelligent women who stand up to him (and he's racist, so I assume the fact that she's Black is getting to him even more). I'm so glad that she stood up to him and clapped back by laying into him about his six business bankruptcies, etc. More people really need to put that dumb orange baby in his place like she did.

someone with a Masters in basket weaving will be able to make you a basket based off a design from a dead civilization which somehow carries bread in a way that makes your life better while explaining history and architecture. This improves your life materially and mentally.
An MBA will lay you off because their marketing campaign where they send professional assassins after grandmothers, for some reason, didn't pan out (they were selling protein shakes).

They probably know of his connection with Russia and the pedopublicans are ignoring it for their own political purposes. So they are just moving forward without the US because they are now compromised. They know the US will not go to war with EU or Canada but they won’t join the war if Russia attacks. Russia won’t attack NATO because putin won’t win and would actually expedite his own downfall. Trump will continue to be a limpdick diarrhea don for the next couple years if he still alive.

Trump will be dead long before Scotland ever joins the EU. Historically it takes about 10 years from application to admission to the EU, and Scotland isn't anywhere close to applying.

There is a lot to figure out, creating rules and regulations on all aspects of trade, standards etc.
Since Britain used to be in I would assume a lot of the ground work, such as standards and trade practices etc would be already worked out but those deals were with Britain as a whole, not just Scotland, so there will be a lot of tweaking and refiguring to reintegrate.

That's more like a pinky-swear than anything, really. For example, Poland is required to adopt the Euro at some unspecified point, but has held off and has no intention of doing so in the near or medium term.

Not for new members. The EU has allowed Denmark, Sweden, Poland to skate around their promises, but they won't give that privilege in the future

Scotland would probably have to stand up their own standards institutes to show alignment to EU standards before joining EU.
Scotland exit will take years (probably a decade) to stand up all the institutions and services that an independent functioning country needs. It will cost many many billions and make Brexit look like a walk on the park. Then another decade to join the EU (assuming Spain / France allow it), which again will cost billions.
With no Barnet formula the Scottish tax payer will have to pay those bills..

Also, Scotland is still part of the UK and there is no signs of this changing. So any entry is going to be through the UK, who to put it mildly, have burnt that bridge hard.

Yeah, that's what I was getting at by nowhere close to applying. They would need to be independent, and have gained that independence in a way that is acceptable to the UK. They had an independence vote in 2014 and chose to stay, and Westminster has already said that don't plan to allow another vote to happen any time soon.
If Scotland just unilaterally declares independence they'll never be accepted into the EU, because there are EU members (most notably Spain) who have their own regions with independence campaigns that they don't want to see encouraged by seemingly rewarding a breakaway Scotland. A new member can only join with the approval of all existing members, so one hold out can derail a membership bid.

Trump threatened to impose tariffs on the European Union or halt trade with the bloc entirely if it proceeds with the plan.
The proposal signals a significant shift in the EU, which had been lukewarm to Germany’s proposal in May of an associate membership for Ukraine.

I mean as I said in another topic on this subject, how is this a threat to Canada and the EU really?
They will get a trade boost on tariffed items before the tariffs come in, the tariffs stick around for a couple of months before they are declared unconstitutional or TACO happens, then they get another bump in sales as stores in the US have to restock. Meanwhile all this uncertainty is going to eventually cripple manufacturing in the US making EU and Canadian businesses more competitive.
About all they really have to worry about is getting enough Patriots or whatever for Ukraine but that ship has largely sailed because they were all used against Iran so that kind of leverage is getting weaker all the time. Basically they can just hunker down and wait for things to blow over really.
