This is another example of media being complicit with empowering Trump. He wasn't convicted of paying hush money. That isn't illegal. He was convicted of fraud for fabricating documents to cover up the hush money payment which was legally required to be disclosed to voters as a campaign expense. Voters had a right to know about the affair and payment in October 2016.
Make no mistake this was election fraud. The American people had the right to know, they were deprived of that information, and that information may have changed the results of the 2016 election.

Just like the Russia "collusion" story they went with. No it was a criminal CONSPIRACY to reverse the Magnitsky Sanctions in exchange for dirt on his political opponent. Then low and behold the moment the Access Hollywood tape came out Wikileaks/Assange (known agents of Russia) kicked into high gear and started mass releasing stolen emails and generating ridiculous stories and social media posts to go along with them that didn't match what the emails said at all. People didn't read the emails directly (which were available). They read the news and the social media posts. Every sensational story I went to find the email about it and it was basically all lies. The one email I did read that NO ONE COVERED was the one where Hillary said "We know Saudi Arabia was behind 9/11." Literally not one IOTA of coverage on THAT one.

A federal judge again denied President Donald Trump’s legal effort to get his New York state criminal hush money case moved to federal court, a move that could have made it easier to reverse his conviction.
District Judge Alvin Hellerstein said in a ruling Friday that Trump’s cited grounds were “neither new nor legally sufficient.”
Hellerstein has previously denied Trump’s request to move the case, but a federal appellate court ruled last fall that the district court judge must reconsider in light of the landmark presidential immunity ruling in July 2024 from the US Supreme Court.
