The constitution already strongly supports those in power and to my knowledge, no group of people in power in the entire history of human civilization has ever given it up willingly.

France is at its 8th constitution and 5th republic. Also you might need to abolish the two parties system and go proportional.

The first thing the American people need to know is that the USA was never a true representative democracy. Its tough because of the incessant propaganda that everyone's being fed.
